Dear Fellow Dreamer,
So today I went running with my sister and Fin..(no, Fin wasn't running with us this time...just riding in the jogging stroller, silly!)..and I ran 2 miles! Woot! And Che' ran 3 miles! Yee-ah! haha Anyway, we took little Fin to the park right after, swung on the swings, slid on the slides, etc. Typical park fun. That's when I saw a stick. Yes, a stick.
I know, you're all super excited. I was.
I've been on this kick, where each funky looking stick is a wand, like from Harry Potter.
So, I picked up the stick and gave it to Finley. Then, after a moment of thought, I yelled, "Avada Kedavra!"
After a second of Che' giving me a weird look, I realized what that spell actually did, and explained to her that, "It was the first spell that popped into my head." Heh...
It's true.
"I don't think we should let you go to Hogwarts..." Che' said.
Yeah, that's probably for the best anyway...I mean, I would probably get there, be put in a wizard dual for class, feel way under pressure, yell, "Avada Kedavra!", kill some random kid, feel bad and shocked, then innocently say, "It was the first spell that popped into my head."
The headlines would read:
CRAZY GIRL KICKED OUT OF HOGWARTS FOR MURDER
*rocks back and forth on her heels* "Well, THAT went well........Sorry?"
And I'm pretty sure that wouldn't go over well with anyone I would meet in the future...I would probably be exiled for my lack of brain functioning under pressure when in a serious situation...
Needless to say, it wouldn't be pretty.
After that, we saw really weird bugs around the park, like a lot!! Kind of like this:
So, we left. My theory is that a whole colony of them live under the park, and that's the reason there were so many birds there today. (Even though that thought makes my skin crawl...eeughh...)
Hope you are all well, and happy!
Keep smiling, laughing, loving, and dreaming!
Sincerely,
Erin (.^_^.)
P.s. Not to offend anyone, but why is the school called 'Hogwarts?' Think about it. Hogwarts. Hog. warts. A Hog's warts? If any of you have the answer to my question, I would be gratefully benefitted from it...*oink, oink*
